Join us to sing for the river Váh in Trenčín, Slovakia!

Duration: 30 minutes with possibility to continue improvise until 19:00
Location: Water Sports Center, at the river Váh in Trenčín
Can singing a Manaus be used as a tool to heal the trauma of environmental degradation? Reimagined not only as an expression of a Finnish cultural tradition of spells, but also as a potential intervention for water ecologies disrupted by pollution and heavy metal contamination.
During the workshop, audience members are invited to interact with Akka, the Acoustic Sculpture, and contribute their own voices to the river, expanding the participatory and healing dimensions of the project. Artist Lindman will teach with a variety of simple exercises how to use your voice as a force and how to listen and sing with/to the river.
